Fall Meeting of the Danish Epidemiological Society – “Modern Methods in Epidemiology: Mediation, Decomposition, and Target Trial Emulation“

Dear all,

We are excited to announce the upcoming Fall Meeting of the Danish Epidemiological Society on Tuesday 22 — Wednesday 23 September in Nyborg. The meeting will feature an outstanding line-up of Danish and international speakers. The overall theme is “Modern Methods in Epidemiology: Mediation, Decomposition, and Target Trial Emulation“.

The full program and link to registration is included below. The early-bird registration rate (until July 15) for DES members is 2500 DKK including dinner and hotel – so make sure to sign up early if you would like to attend.

Also – We are looking for early-career researchers in epidemiology who would like to give an oral presentation and compete for the DES Lecture Competition Award! Up to six abstracts will be selected for presentations, providing an excellent opportunity to share your findings and engage with fellow epidemiologists. Additional early-career researchers will have the opportunity to present their research as posters at the meeting. See link for more information.

And, do not forget to nominate young epidemiologists for the 2026 Schroll Prize! The prize recognizes a junior epidemiologist who has demonstrated excellence in epidemiological research, methods development or application, teaching and/or dissemination, already at an early career stage.

We are hoping to see many of you there

All the best,
The Board of the Danish Epidemiological Society
